The Pyro System

The Pyro system is a volatile, lawless expanse orbiting a dangerously unstable star. Wracked by constant solar flares and electromagnetic storms, it’s a no-go for the faint of heart — and a haven for pirates, smugglers, and drifters living off the grid.

Closest to the star lies Pyro I, a molten, dying world slowly consumed by the sun’s fury.

Then comes Pyro II, known as Monox — a coreless planet scarred by old mining operations and named for the toxic carbon monoxide lingering in its thin, part-oxygen atmosphere. Despite its surprisingly temperate climate, Monox was never cleared for terraforming because of its deadly proximity to Pyro’s unstable star. When mining finally ceased, outlaws moved in, carving out a lawless foothold amid the ruins.

Pyro III, called Bloom, is the system’s only world with breathable air, dotted with strange yellow vegetation and battered by icy winds — a rough haven for those who prefer to stay off the grid.

Further out, Pyro IV drifts in a decaying orbit around Pyro V, a massive yellow-green gas giant with six moons rumored to harbor everything from lost salvage to pirate dens.

On the outer edge waits Pyro VI, a frozen methane world sheltering Ruin Station, a former corporate hub now ruled by gangs and smugglers.

In Pyro, the only certainty is danger. Every planet tells a story of fire, greed, and survival. If you’re headed in, keep your wits sharp—and your weapons sharper.
